Textured Finishes take faux finishing to the next level. LusterStone, distressed plaster, embossed stencils, venetian plaster, layered wax effects, and dimensional blocks are all excellent techniques I can bring to your home or business that will give your walls that Old World look and feel -- all created with the latest technology in water-based and durable finishing materials.
I also specialize in exposed bricks, exposed wine labels and exposed murals. These finishes give the classic appearance that your walls have been plastered or stuccoed over an older surface, but areas of the earlier surface peek through the plaster or stucco top coat. These exposed textures are also good examples of trompe l’oeil (pronounced trohmp loy) which is French for “eye-fooling”. See my Murals page for more information on trompe l’oeil.
